I build things across the full stack of computation -- from bare-metal OS kernels to multi-agent AI systems. Most recent work: Erdos, a multi-agent theorem prover where LLMs generate Lean 4 proofs. The agents kept redef...

It is becoming f*cking dangerous A 23-year-old dev in SF just ran 300 Grindr chats in parallel and hooked them to a verification layer so nobody could bullshit him He opens the live dashboard: • 300 “hey” messages processed at the same time • Every “looking?” answered in ~100 ms • Three passes over 100 profiles → still no confirmed plans • Everything dumped straight into an Obsidian vault called “deal flow” The trick is the split: one model does the flirting, a cheaper one checks whether “partner” means boyfriend or venture capital. The loop doesn’t stop until someone gives a time and an address An analyst team would bill weeks for this. He used it to find six “founders” within walking distance of the same Palo Alto hot tub He wanted to be the next Peter Thiel. He built Salesforce for “you hosting?” Same kind of Second Brain + seed round setup that keeps circulating. The meetup is invite-only. So is the cap table

China just put out a draft that could change how all of us use open-weight models. Exporting weights, checkpoints or code of the very largest models (2T+ parameters, 10^26+ FLOPs, or top 10 globally) would need government approval. API and app access stays untouched so far. If it goes through, the biggest Chinese labs may not be able to freely release their top models anymore, and teams in the US and Europe that build on them could feel it fast. My guess is this is a response to the US and its chip controls.
