Part of what angel investors especially are signing up for when they back your company is to learn from more than their current role. I treat that perk very seriously, and try to make sure they learn as we learn. Doesn't absolve you from reaching out more directly when you want their help. If you hate your investors and don't want them to learn with you, why did you take their money?

Agreed! For marketing, feels like there are fewer good marketers who want to climb the ranks and become CMO and then the job has changed a lot and good marketing is different from one company to the next (and at the early stages is really the founder now more than ever)
