Content Lead

San Francisco · Full-time
Apply for this role

SuperMe is looking for a Content Lead to build the editorial engine that tells the world what our network knows. This is a hands-on role blending editorial, data, and growth, with direct partnership and reporting to the CEO.

You'll own SuperMe's content from idea to distribution: finding the stories hidden in how professionals use SuperMe, turning our network's expertise and our engineering work into content people want to read, and publishing on a steady cadence across LinkedIn, X, and search. You'll set the editorial bar for everything we publish and measure what drives awareness and usage, while making sure every piece reflects our mission of connecting builders with people who've done it.

What You'll Do

Own the content calendar: Build and run a weekly publishing rhythm across data insights, use cases, expert spotlights, engineering posts, and launches. Decide what ships, when, and on which channel.

Find stories in the data: Work with product and usage data to find trends no one else can see, such as what operators are asking about compensation, hiring, or growth, and what the job market looks like from inside the network. Turn those findings into charts, posts, and reports people share.

Showcase the network: Spotlight the top people giving advice on SuperMe and the hard business problems they help solve. Work with experts on timely commentary, including short video or audio clips on industry news, so readers see that this advice is one question away on SuperMe.

Show the product in action: Build a library of real use cases that show how builders use SuperMe to make decisions, prepare for big moments, and get unstuck.

Partner with engineering: Work with our engineers to turn how we build with AI into technical posts that are credible, specific, and useful to other builders.

Produce and edit: Write, edit, and package content yourself, and use AI tools to build systems that let a small team publish at the quality and volume of a much larger one.

Measure what works: Define success metrics for reach, engagement, search traffic, and signups. Use the results to double down on what resonates, while protecting the content that matters for our mission and brand even when it isn't the top performer.

What We're Looking For

  • An editorial background and a strong editorial bar. You know the difference between content that fills a calendar and content people remember.
  • Real curiosity. You look at a dataset and ask questions until you find the story.
  • Fluency with data: comfortable pulling and analyzing data yourself (SQL, spreadsheets, or similar) and presenting it clearly.
  • Experience translating technical work into compelling stories, and comfort working directly with engineers.
  • A metrics-driven approach to distribution across LinkedIn, X, and SEO, paired with the judgment to know when the numbers aren't the whole story.
  • An entrepreneurial, self-directed approach: you see what needs to be published and ship it without waiting for a brief.
  • Experience at a fast-growing startup, ideally a product-led or network-driven company. We care more about what you've built and shipped than about years of experience.

If interested, send an email to careers@superme.ai to tell us why you think you would be a good fit.
