A lot of people underestimate the scale of @sftechweek
This year, San Francisco alone has 1,500+ events. More than 1,200 are AI-related, and 1 in 7 SF events is explicitly focused on agentic AI.
I’ll be in San Francisco Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, using the week to go deeper on three areas I think will matter a lot as AI moves from experimentation into real products:
1) Model maturity and evals: How are teams actually measuring whether AI systems are reliable enough for production, and what does “good” look like beyond a demo?
2) Vertical AI: Where are domain-specific AI companies creating a real advantage, and what separates a vertical AI product from a horizontal model wrapped around an industry workflow?
3) Voice AI: Voice is getting remarkably good. I’m interested in where it is already working in real business workflows and what still needs to improve for broader adoption.
The most valuable part is comparing notes with people who are building. If you’re working on any of these areas, I’d love to connect while I’m in SF.
Bring what you’re building, what’s working, and what isn’t.
